Thank you for your interest in our School.
The Sacramento Waldorf School has been part of the educational landscape of the Sacramento region since 1959. We provide excellence in Waldorf education, offering a rich, developmentally appropriate curriculum for pre-K through twelfth grade. We have more than 400 students; our small size ensures that each child is known and recognized by caring adults.
We occupy a spectacular 22-acre site overlooking the San Juan Rapids on the American River. Our beautiful setting provides the backdrop for a safe, nurturing educational environment. It includes a small working farm, a creek, expansive playing fields, a large multi-purpose building (gymnasium and performance space), a new, state-of-the-art science and math complex, and classrooms. We make full use of this site, with many opportunities for outdoor activities and an extensive range of sports and extra-curricular activities for our older students.
We warmly invite you to visit our campus and discover more about our unique education in which children are nurtured and challenged to reach their full potential.
