Participating in both athletics and the arts is the norm for students at the Sacramento Waldorf School. There is a wide variety of opportunities for High School and Middle school Students to play on competitive sports teams. The Sacramento Waldorf High School is a member of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and the Central Valley Christian League, a competitive sports association. Junior High students can participate in volleyball, soccer, and a basketball league composed of Northern California Waldorf schools. The Sacramento Waldorf School maintains a "no cut" policy, meaning students in good academic standing can be on any team they choose, without having to compete for a spot.
