Community Service

Community Service is an important component of a Sacramento Waldorf School education. We find that performing community service work helps broaden our students' perspectives on social issues and fosters within them a life-long desire to give back. Students carry out their community service in a variety of ways, including conducting wetlands mitigation, performing maintenance work, and providing educational support for fellow students. Community Service work can also include volunteering for organizations such as Loaves and Fishes, UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento Youth Court, Saddle Pals, WEAVE, Habitat for Humanity, SPCA and Head Start.
