Parent/Child Program

The youngest members of our School community find a warm welcome in our Parent/Child program. Young children from six months to three-years-old attend a weekly session with their parent or caregiver. Under the careful guidance of a skilled teacher, children participate in age-appropriate activities, including creative play, painting, story time, movement activities and a wholesome snack.

The Parent/Child program supports the development of essential pre-academic and social skills in a caring, protected environment. A rhythmical cycle of age-appropriate activities is conducted in a warm, calm atmosphere. The Parent/Child program creates a strong foundation for later learning.

While children engage in activities, parents enjoy the companionship and support of peers. As part of the program, there are monthly parent information meetings with knowledgeable speakers addressing a variety of relevant topics, including healthy play, nutrition, childhood illnesses, and sleep.

We offer separate sessions for infants (six months to fourteen months), young toddlers (fourteen months to twenty-four months), toddlers (two to three years), and three-year-olds. Sessions are limited to a maximum of eight children. Groups meet once each week for two hours during the school year.

*The Parent/Child Program has paused for the Holidays and winter and will recommence in the spring.
