Recognizing the need for wholesome and nurturing care for children, the Sacramento Waldorf School provides a wonderful Waldorf-based program of extended care and summer camp. Designed exclusively for Lower School children, extended care and a summer camp care lovingly for children in a developmentally appropriate, enriching environment.

Summer Camp

For six weeks in the summer, Lower School-aged children from throughout the greater Sacramento area come to enjoy Waldorf-inspired experiences and play on our beautiful campus. Daily activities include movement, singing, games, crafts, gardening, storytelling, fort building, water play, nature walks and special events. Nutritious snacks are provided each day.

Extended Care

In support of our families, the Sacramento Waldorf School provides a loving and nurturing extended care program for our Kindergarten and Lower School children. Extended care offers a home-like environment in which younger children enjoy the company of their friends, a nap or quiet time, indoor and outdoor play time, and a nutritious snack. Older children have the opportunity to study, complete homework and go to the Library. More information about extended care can be obtained at the School office.
