Summer Program & Extended Care

Summer Program 2015

The Sacramento Waldorf School summer day camp program has begun planning for another fun-filled, stimulating, and creative season.

This year the camp will be directed by Francis Hopkins (last summer's director extraordinaire) and Peter Schoen who was the lead teacher for the Artisans last summer.  We are currently planning the weekly sessions and themes, exploring ideas, and starting to book programs and entertainers for Friday presentations each week. There will be six one-week sessions starting June 22 and ending the last week of July. We will have three age-appropriate programs:

·         Busy Bees: entering kindergarten to entering 1st grade

·         Explorers: entering 2nd grade-entering 3rd grade

·         Artisans: entering 4th grade-entering 6th grade

For the 8:00am to 2:00pm Program the cost is $200 per week.

For the Full-day program until 6:00pm the cost is $300 per week.

We are looking forward to a great summer program so check your summer calendars. Registration begins in March.

Extended Care / Aftercare

In support of our families, the Sacramento Waldorf School provides a loving and nurturing extended care program for our Kindergarten and Lower School children. Extended care offers a home-like environment in which younger children enjoy the company of their friends, a nap or quiet time, indoor and outdoor play time, and a nutritious snack. Older children have the opportunity to study, complete homework and go to the Library. More information about extended care can be obtained from the School office.
