Directly support Lower School Playground Improvements and Orchestra Room & Green Room Refresh.
You can make a direct impact by supporting our Campus Stewardship fund.

We continue with a goal of raising $75,000 for the following improvements:

Lower School Playground Improvements
60 % of your donation will go to improvements of the Lower School playgrounds. Both the Grade 1&2 playground and the Grade 3&4 playground need improvement. The ½ yard has been without a primary play structure since approximately 2015. Another structure in the yard is aged and needs to be removed. In the ¾ yard the primary structure is close to the end of life and will need to be removed soon. Both yards need fresh new elements to engage the children and anchor the spaces for the next 10-15+ years.

Orchestra Room & Green Room Refresh
20 % of your donation will support improvements to the Orchestra room and Room 25. Both the Orchestra Room (26) and the Drama Room or Green Room (25) need refreshment. Both spaces are used heavily throughout the year for not only class activities but also meetings, plays, sporting events, etc. Fresh paint and carpet are required to keep the spaces clean and presentable for our community. Long-term and future Campus Stewardship projects 20 % of your donation will support future and long-term projects.

Thank you for your gift in support of these projects for our students and school.

History

Apart from the annual Fund A Need campaigns that sought to raise money for specific projects, there has never been anything like an Endowment Fund specifically for the long- term stewardship of the buildings and grounds of Sacramento Waldorf School. The existing Endowment Fund, which is primarily funded by the Waldorf Cup and other private donations, is specifically for Faculty salary increases and Tuition Assistance. In 2022, we launched a Campus Stewardship Fund to support general improvements to campus facilities and outdoor spaces that enable community events, performances, and classroom experiences. With a founding gift of $25,000 from Janae’ & Lawrence Olson for Linden Hall, we have raised approximately $129,000 since the Spring of 2022.
